The inauguration of ‘Year of Artificial Intelligence’

With the aim of securing a leading position for India in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has declared 2025 as the 'Year of Artificial Intelligence'. In line with this, the Data Science and A.I.M.L. department of R.C. Patel Institute of Technology, Shirpur will also celebrate this year as the ‘Year of Artificial Intelligence’. The inauguration ceremony of this initiative was recently conducted by the college's director, Dr. J.B. Patil. The event was graced by Dr. Praveen Loharkar, a professor from N.M.I.M.S. Campus in Sawalde, as the chief guest. Detailed information about the various programs to be conducted by the department throughout the year was provided by the department head, Dr. Ujwala Patil. On this occasion, Dr. Loharkar provided comprehensive guidance to the students on 'No Coding' and the future job opportunities in the field of artificial intelligence. The program received an excellent response from the second, third, and final year students of the department. In alignment with the vision of the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, to make India a global leader, the attending teachers and students also took an AI affirmation pledge.
