Competitive Examination and Guidance Cell
Aims and Objectives :
The college has constituted a Competitive Examination Cell. The cell is dedicated for conducting various activities for grooming the students for various competitive exams.
- 1. To provide in-house support to the students appearing for various competitive examinations.
- 2. Facilitate students to enhance their scope for their professional career.
- 3. To guide students about details of various competitive examinations such as GATE, GRE, TOEFL, CMAT, UPSC, MPSC, MBA CET etc. in the beginning of academic session so that they can plan their career systematically.
- 4. To assist students by displaying notifications, schedules, expert guidance sessions, organizing events whereby students will analyze their suitability for further studies. The cell can hire help from outside experts for this purpose. To assist students in getting study material, books, e-books, relevant websites etc.
- 5. To record the meetings such as issues discussed & actions taken in this regard. Keep these documents to be verified internally as well as externally during various inspections.
Functions of Competitive Examination and Guidance Cell :
- 1. To motivate students for prospective career in Government and Corporate Sector.
- 2. To intensively guide students for competitive Examinations like GATE, GRE, TOEFL, CMAT, UPSC, MPSC, MBA CET etc. and other competitive and entrance exams.
- 3. To assist students by displaying notifications, schedules, expert guidance sessions, organizing events whereby students will analyze their suitability for further studies.
- 4. To assist students in getting study material, books, relevant websites etc.
- 5. To prepare the budget for the cell activities for approval and forward activity plan of next academic session for incorporation into academic planner.
- 6. To report summary to the head of institute in the form of resources available, systems or mechanisms evolved and impact. To identify deviations from predetermined norms if any and incorporate statements in the summary report on possible remedies/further actions.

Responsibilities :
Chairman :
- 1. To ensure that at least two meetings per semester should get executed.
- 2. To make available a platform for GATE, GRE, TOEFL, CMAT, UPSC, MPSC, MBA CET etc. aspirants where they can get all the help and guidance they need.
- 3. To arrange guest lectures on various topics by eminent personalities.
- 4. To impart knowledge about various current affairs useful for exam preparation.
- 5. To provide comprehensive and quality study material and guidance for students who can’t afford coaching classes.
Members :
- 1. To communicate the identified information among students of respective department.
- 2. To conduct meetings effectively.
- 3. To take follow up of whether identified information is peculated among the students.
- 4. To maintain the register of minutes of meetings.
